There's a new hotel in the Finger Lakes! The old Gould Hotel in Seneca Falls has just been given an amazing make-over and is now the new Hotel Clarence.

The name comes from the character in the Frank Capra 1946 film 'It's a Wonderful Life'. Seneca Falls bills itself as the real Bedford Falls in the movie. The theme of the movie is evident everywhere in the new hotel on Fall Street especially in the lobby where the classic film plays on the wall.

48 guest rooms and suites are sophisticated and comfortable with the finest in bedding and furnishings. Rates range from $149 to $189 as an opening special during the month of July, then from $189 and up after July.

The hotel restaurant is a very big part of the hotel with contemporary American cuisine including grilled and smoked foods and Finger Lakes wines. Go for the pulled pork! Mmmmmm
